About Us

In 2018, I deployed to Syria as part of the multinational coalition to defeat the Islamic State. While there, I experienced first-hand the emerging threat from small drones and realized that the existing and planned defenses against them wouldn't be the right systems needed to bring Soldiers like mine home alive. When I returned home, we set to work designing a system that would help Soldiers on the ground engage and defeat small drones threatening them. Our CATS system is designed so that no Soldier will ever be powerless against this threat. Kinard exists to solve this and other complex and emerging problems in unique, scalable, technology enabled ways.
